Frequently asked questions
Where should I start?
Read the core concepts, choose an installation, complete initialization and first login, then follow the quick start. A complete runtime bundle differs from a source ZIP and does not require rebuilding.
Is there a default account and password?
No shared default credentials are distributed with the source. The installer creates an administrator chosen by the deployer, with independent configuration and keys.
Does saving a task run it?
No. Saving publishes a definition version. Manual execution or an enabled schedule creates an execution request. Request acceptance is different from successful task execution.
Can I try iJob online?
An independent online demo is not currently offered, and no opening date is scheduled. Start with the scenario tutorials and actual interface screenshots. Deployers control permissions and external resources in their own installations.
Does a successful build mean every test passed?
No. Compilation, automated tests and environment-specific acceptance establish different facts. Skipped or unexecuted checks are not passes. Release evidence must identify its source and artifacts.
Where are source, downloads and issue reporting?
The GitHub source repository is public; download runtime bundles, corresponding third-party source and checksums from the v1.0.0 Release. Use GitHub Issues for general questions, ordinary bugs and feature requests. Include the version, operating system, deployment method, reproduction steps, expected versus actual results and relevant redacted logs.
How do I report a security vulnerability privately?
GitHub private vulnerability reporting is enabled; no separate contact mailbox is needed. Sign in to GitHub to submit and continue the discussion within the private report.
Include affected versions, impact and reproduction steps. Do not post vulnerability details in public issues, pull requests or comments. Do not submit real passwords, tokens, private keys, production databases or complete configurations. If the reporting button is absent, do not disclose vulnerability details in a public issue instead.
